AFI’s (A Fire Inside) characteristic new EP “The Missing Man” sees the band venture into exciting new areas. Startling fans with promotional material suggesting that frontman Davey Havok had left the band, the Instagram posts displayed the removal of the singer from photos. However, this was later revealed to be a teaser for the new EP, something fans were craving. 

A taste of new territory, this release displays the bands ability to play in different styles. With elements of heavy, post-hardcore, emo, punk and alt-rock, this release jumps out right from the first track with a massive, catchy bassline. The attention is sure to be held for the remainder of the EP with its great vocal chants, epic synths, echoing guitars, buzzing riffs, slick drums and entrancing lyrics.
