As Alex Izenberg pieced together the sweeping, psychedelic opuses on his full-band debut Alex Izenberg & The Exiles, the Los Angeles artist aimed to create something built to last. Drawing inspiration from philosopher Alan Watts, the storytelling of King Crimson, and the vistas of Fleet Foxes, his music combines esoteric lyrics with romantic melodies and expansive arrangements. 

With a new ensemble formed around his strongest songs, Izenberg and his band deliver a sound that is both bold and inviting, grounded by the warmth and depth of their musical craftsmanship.
