With former member Cole MGN returning for mixing and drum programming, the album unfolds as a twisted patchwork of West Coast funk, sleazy lounge-pop, glam detours, and cosmic detritus. While the production is crisper and more collaborative, the record still radiates Ariel Pink’s trademark absurdist humour, cryptic lyricism, and nostalgic oddities.

Ariel Pink (born Ariel Marcus Rosenberg) is a pioneer of the hypnagogic pop movement, known for fusing 60s and 80s pop aesthetics with experimental flair and lo-fi charm. Over the past two decades, he’s developed a devoted cult following, inspiring a generation of DIY and indie musicians through his surreal sonic tapestries and genre-dissolving sound.
