Also known as “Detective Conan”, Case Closed is a Japanese detective manga written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. Heiji Hattori is an Osakan high school detective in the the manga and anime, serving as the childhood friend and romantic interest of Kazuha Toyama. Previously a detective rival to Shinichi Kudo, Heiji has since found out Conan’s true identity and now frequently teams up to work on cases.
