“13” was the first compilation album of iconic American psychedelic rock/blues rock band The Doors. Formed in Los Angeles in 1965, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore, The Doors were amongst the most successful, controversial and influential acts of the ’60s.

“13″ was first released in November 1970, five months before “LA Woman,” their last studio album with Jim Morrison. The title refers to the thirteen tracks included and it features a comprehensive and fine selection of hits from their first five studio albums.
