In Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, is bored with doing the same thing every year for Halloween. Then he stumbles into Christmas Town and is so taken with the idea of Christmas that he tries to get the residents of Halloween Town to help him put on Christmas instead of Halloween. But his well-meaning mission unwittingly puts Santa Clause in jeopardy and creates a nightmare for all good little boys and girls everywhere!

This memorable character comes to life in applique detail on the front pocket. His white shirt displays a spider print, and he holds applique map scrolls in one hand. In his other hand, he displays a plan for next year’s Halloween celebration. His cone-shaped face rises up over the top, and lenticular details reveal two different facial expressions. On one side pocket, an applique spider dangles from a coil-shaped spiral, similar to Jack Skellington’s doorbell. And… what’s this? The spider on the string is retractable!
