She was the one who started it all! Introducing late-night horror films on TV with a dose of macabre mischief and creepy camp, Vampira was the original Dark Goddess of Horror! In 1953 an aspiring actress, Maila Nurmi, needed a costume for an upcoming masquerade party. She drew upon a comic strip from the yet unnamed character of Mrs. Addams, that struck Ms. Nurmi to be the perfect look for the party.  She set about creating her version of the character’s dress, and brought Vampira to life!

Measuring approximately 43 cm tall, this Statue spares no chance to capture the immense attention to detail. Everything from the painted applications, characteristic pose, sculpted fabric, and texture detailing has been masterfully created to produce only the highest quality of presentation.
